Well, the Christmas tree made it 4 whole days before lumberjack Ava got a hold of it and took it to the ground! I left the room for a few minutes and heard her cry so I ran to see what happened and she came out of the dining room saying "what did you do to the tree?" And then I saw it, my half naked pitiful tree laying in the floor... defeated. It has now gone back into hibernation for yet another year... poor, poor tree! Glad I didn't put that glass topper on!

No, don't put the tree away yet! Maybe now that she has scared herself she will leave it alone....or at least not pull it.
I already did... it is very sad, but she was driving me NUTS!!!!! I moved the ornaments to the top thinking that would help. She was taking the cord and twirling the tree around, it wasn't going to stop! Wild child! =) I think I will try again in a couple of weeks. Did you put yours up?
