Snow Day!

Yesterday we woke up to SNOW!! We heard on the news that it was possible, but of course we laughed at the idea! So when I got up to see the fluffy goodness falling from the sky I was shocked! And then we scrambled around the house looking for things that we could go play in, not easy to find in a southern household. =) But we made it happen, she had thermal pj's under her clothes.

Ava wasn't sure what to think about the snow, it took her a while to warm up to it. She wasn't happy that it stuck to her boots or that she had wet, dirty gloves. But evidently she liked it because she was mad when we came in, even though her hands were red form being cold and wet. I can say she did way better with snow than sand and beaches! Whoohoo, that means ski vacations, my favorite!!
