Hot Zoo!

Today we went to the zoo! We thought we would take advantage of the cooler weather, but oops we missed it! HAHA! It was really hot but we still had fun though. Ava had a blast and was able to walk around and see the animals without having to be held the whole time, which she loved and so did we. =) She is all about being a "big girl." Last time we went to the zoo we let her down and she tried to run away. No, seriously she would run the opposite way as everyone else every chance she got. It was funny but tiring. So she had to be on lock-down. Just another reminder that she's growing up.

Ava really liked the elephants and giraffes and tried to give an alligator a cookie! Don't worry she wasn't close enough to actually feed one, she just threw it into the "swamp." I think it's safe to say the swamp exhibit was my favorite. I LOVE alligators and the duckweed is fascinating to me I think it's SO pretty! Anyway, on to the pictures.
