Yucky Sand

We met some friends in Gulf Shores for a couple of days, it was a bit rainy, but we had fun! Ava wasn't sure what to think about the sand, actually she HATED it and screamed bloody murder everytime she fell and it got on her hands. It was pretty entertaining, I definitely wasn't expecting that reaction. I should rethink putting together that sandbox that has been sitting for about two weeks now.



Here she is digging, it was ok to play in it with the scoops and shovels.

Here she is decked out in her floaties and water shoes and lookin' cute! And lets not forget about the beloved "squishy ball!" I don't think she put this down the whole time we were there.
One of the few times I actually got her to look at the camera.
Eating sand... yes, we can eat it, but not touch it!
And here is what we refer to as the "melt down", my friends. Both sad and funny at the same time! She is extremely clumsy which never works in her favor, especially here. She did this at least 10 times.
